- WHAT: BaconFest, a fundraiser for the Sunset Terrace Elementary Playground Fund
- WHERE: The Canadian Honker Events at the Ramada Hotel, 1517 16th St SW, Rochester, MN [MAP]
- WHEN: Thursday, February 7th, 2013 from 5-9 pm
- WHY: Because bacon is awesome, and we’re raising money to build a new playground at Sunset Terrace Elementary.
- WHO: Organized by the Sunset Terrace PTA
Tickets are available at the Canadian Honker Restaurant 1203 2nd St SW in Rochester. $20 for adults, $10 for kids 12 and under.
Tickets will be $25 at the door on the day of the event. Cash only, please
Tickets can also be purchased online by making a donation to the Sunset Terrace Playground project. The deadline is Wednesday, February 6th at midnight. Tickets purchased online can be picked up at the event.
King Bacon will be crowned during the event. Candidates include Mayor Ardell Brede, Randy Brock from KTTC, Rochester School Superintendent Michael Munoz, and Sunset Terrace fifth grade teacher Mr. Zach Erlandson. Candidates will collect money in advance and the night of the event. The one with the most money will win the crown.
